Sunday Church School on Sundays
10:30 - 11:30 a.m.

Sunday Church School is open to children ages three on up through high school. The children go directly to their classrooms at 10:30 a.m. All classes meet in the fellowship hall for 15 minutes of singing and then go back to their classrooms to learn about God‘s love through Bible stories, games, crafts and Sunday Church School lessons.

St. Matthew’s Sunday Church School is open to visitors and members alike. Bring a friend with you!

Our Sunday Church School Staff always welcomes new volunteers. Teachers and assistants are committed to 1 hour of church school each Sunday, approximately one hour of meeting time each month and occasional time for other activities. Please consider joining our staff…we’d love to have you!

The 1st Communion class received the Sacrament of Holy Communion for the first time on Maundy Thursday, April 1, 2010.

The 2009 & 2010 Confirmation classes and chaperones attended a two-day retreat at Pinebrook Retreat Center near East Stroudsburg, PA, May 1st-2nd, 2009.  The confirmands were excited and energized & the chaperones and Pastor were exhausted!  Special thanks to Pam Behler, Chad Evans, Jenn Mann, and David Yeakel for their assistance and guidance in chaperoning the event.  The Confirmands were outstanding in their participation and excellence in academics as we tackle the following units of study: Jesus and the 12 disciples, St. Peter, St. Paul and the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther.  An all around good time was had by all.
